“Miasto grzechu” (translates as “Sin City”) is the second album from the Warsaw rock band Restless. Compared to the debut album “Good Things” from 2014, there were some band member changes that were significant for the band’s sound. Michał Zawadzki (ex Antigama) took over the bass foundation of the rhythm section. After a series of concerts with the band, Paweł “Kiljan” Kiljański took over the singer duty – he is well known in the circles of Polish Hard Rock and Rock fans as a former longtime vocalist of the band Hetman. Paweł also sang in many other bands including Night Rider and Night Rider Symphony.
The album “Miasto grzechu” (“Sin City”) consists of 11 melodic compositions kept in the style of Hard Rock and sharp Blues, and what is important, all the lyrics are in Polish this time. Due to the characteristic Kiljan’s vocal, Restless’s achievements on the album can be positively associated with the best times of the Hetman band (the album “Skazaniec” or “Złe sny”) and all of this, of course, dressed in its characteristic Restless style, which continues and develops since the debut album.
