Description
Pale Mannequin was brought to life in 2016 in Warsaw, as a solo project of guitarist/vocalist Tomasz Izdebski. As the process of writing for the debut album progressed, Tomasz joined forces with Jakub Łukowski (drums), Grzegorz Mazur (guitar/vocals) and Dariusz Goc (bass) – musicians who all share broad musical influences and inspirations. In their work, the band blends progressive and alternative rock elements, resulting in a melancholic, yet often aggressive sounding outcome, that resembles artists like Katatonia, Riverside or Opeth. One of their goals, however, is to remain open to experimentation. After all, mannequins can be dressed anywise…
In March 2019 Pale Mannequin released their debut album “Patterns In Parallel”. Its main theme revolves around the idea of predestination. History often turns full circle, and some patterns repeat endlessly, regardless of the context. If day after day, we are defined by our own patterns and habits – do all our decisions really matter in the end?
